The Maccheroncini di Campofilone PGI are a celebration of the culinary tradition of the Marche region, with origins dating back to the Council of Trent in 1560. This historic dish, made of very thin strands of pasta with flour and eggs, was originally produced by the farming families of Campofilone to preserve fresh eggs from their hens throughout the year.

“La Campofilone” keeps this ancient tradition alive by offering Elite Maccheroncini, made exclusively with the highest quality ingredients. In particular, fresh eggs from free-range hens fed with noble grains, and selected flour. The production is strictly GMO-free, ensuring a healthy and natural product.

Processing and Quality of Maccheroncini di Campofilone

The processing of Maccheroncini di Campofilone involves a very thin sheet, achieved through a slow drying process of 36 hours.
