Passerina Marche IGT 0.75 L – Numa

The Passerina Marche IGP by Numa is a white wine distinguished by its character and freshness. On the palate, it is dry and sharp, with freshness supported by a pleasant saline, iodine, and mineral sensation. It is a wine characterized by its vigor, fragrance, and certain structure. On the nose, it is intense and elegant, with floral notes of broom and grape flower, accompanied by citrus hints of lemon and cedar, with touches of wild thyme and sage. This wine is cerebral, refreshing, and pleasant, with an umami connotation that invites you to finish the bottle. The terroir of this wine is mixed and predominantly clayey, with a yield per hectare of 70 quintals. The vines are trained in double Guyot, with a density of 4000 vines per hectare for older plantings and 4500 for newer ones. Harvesting is done manually, with a meticulous selection of the bunches. The vinification process involves storing the selected grapes in a cold room until the desired values are reached. Subsequently, the grapes are processed in white at a controlled temperature for about 30 days. Aging takes place for 3-4 months in steel at a controlled temperature, with storage possibilities from 1 to 3 years.

In the glass, the Passerina Marche IGP by Numa presents a straw yellow color with green reflections, clear. On the nose, the aromas recall a floral bouquet of citrus and fresh yellow fruit. In the mouth, it is pleasantly acidic and easy to drink, with an almost marine sapidity due to the proximity of the sea. Passerina is excellent as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with appetizers, soups, main courses, fish, and white meats, as well as medium-aged cheeses.
