Cantina NUMA was founded in 2016 by Pier Francesco Liberi, who decided to take over the vineyards of his grandfather, Nucci Marcello. From a young age, Pier Francesco nurtured his love for the countryside and viticulture, gaining experience both in Italy and abroad before dedicating himself fully to his own winery.
After years of study and work in the vineyards, in 2019 he fulfilled a dream: building a winery surrounded by the family vineyards, in the heart of Le Marche. This choice allows full control over production, enhancing the unique characteristics of the territory. The soils, rich in stones and clay, together with the different sun exposures, encourage balanced grape ripening.
One of the pillars of Cantina NUMA is its commitment to organic viticulture. This approach has roots dating back to the 1990s, when grandfather Nucci Marcello chose to adopt sustainable farming practices. Pier Francesco inherited this philosophy and enriched it with a modern vision, adopting new preservation techniques and micro-vinifications to fully express the potential of the fruit.
The company’s goal is to create authentic and distinctive wines, capable of telling the story of the territory through a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Each bottle represents a journey through the history of the Liberi family, bearing witness to their love for the land and their commitment to sustainable, high-quality viticulture.
