Craft passion and quality in Le Marche

Birrificio Mukkeller was founded in 2010 in Porto Sant’Elpidio, in Le Marche, thanks to the passion of Marco Raffaeli, known as “Mukka” because of his imposing stature. From a small home garage, Marco turned his passion for homebrewing into a successful business, supported by his brother Fabio, who manages the commercial and logistics side of the brewery.

From passion to production: the birth of Mukkeller

The name Mukkeller comes from the combination of the nickname “Mukka” and Marco’s love for Keller beers, discovered during his training experiences. Despite its similarity to the Danish brewery Mikkeller, Marco has explained the origin of the brand with irony, avoiding any legal controversy with the Danish founder, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø.

The brewery produces a wide range of craft beers, inspired by German, Belgian, British and American styles. Each beer is the result of a meticulous process, with balanced recipes and selected ingredients that reflect Marco’s creativity and the authenticity of the Marche territory.

The Beer Attraction award and craft excellence

In 2019, Birrificio Mukkeller achieved an important milestone by winning the title of Brewery of the Year at Beer Attraction in Rimini, thanks to its focus on quality and innovation. This award strengthened the brewery’s reputation, establishing it as one of the leading craft beer producers in Italy.
