Located between the Chienti river valley and the hills of the Macerata area, Azienda Agricola Si.Gi. has represented an outstanding excellence in the Marche gastronomic landscape for over twenty-five years. Founded in the second half of the 1990s from the passion of Silvano and Giuliana, the company has made the recovery of biodiversity its mission, bringing back to life ancient fruits and historic recipes that time and industrialisation were slowly erasing from collective memory.

Si.Gi.’s production is a tribute to patience and quality, expressed through rare specialities such as Sapa, Vino e Visciole, jujube jam, white fig preserves and the renowned whole mulberries. Each jar preserves the originality of ancient Macerata traditions, presented in a wide range that extends from jellies and fruit in syrup to pickled vegetables and alcoholic products, all united by a deep respect for the integrity of the raw ingredients.

Purity and artisan know-how

The production method avoids every modern compromise: each stage of the process is carried out entirely by hand and follows the natural rhythm of the seasons. The raw ingredients, grown organically on the farm itself or sourced from selected partners, are processed exclusively fresh, once they have reached perfect ripeness. The company uses simple tools and traditional techniques, such as open-pot boiling and the use of a food mill, strictly avoiding pectin, chemical thickeners, colourings or preservatives. This philosophy guarantees a pure and honest product, able to preserve all the flavour and nutritional properties of the Marche countryside.
